1950s vintage black navy silk dress by designer Pauline Trigere. Gorgeous dress with knife pleats in front of skirt, box pleats in back, and apron style front, with that shaped neckline and back ! This dress is a work of a skilled designer and art.. Fabric is a rich, blue-black heavy satin silk. The dress has been altered - stitching marks where the seams were let out are visible at the sides, but not glaringly obvious. Otherwise excellent vintage condition. 6” of fabric available with dress from where it was altered.
