This evening gown is probably one of my top 5 all time dresses that I have collected in 25 years. Unusual in the top half is a silk brocade that they quilted. The skirt section is the silk brocade made into a patchwork with a green silk velvet. This was made by hand. And in today's world it is nearly impossible to find workmanship like this. It is marked size 12. I would say it is today's size 8. The scoop neck, and empire waist is in its way hot, which you wouldn't think with brocade and velvet. It is in pristine, perfect condition.
